Bec Bartell

Bec Bartell is a self-taught painter based in Perth. Her work reflects a love of the natural world of plants and animals which allow for limitless possibilities in her work. She is inspired by the Dutch Golden Age and its paintings of detailed still life against a dark background with the use of realistic light effects. Her work features local flora, birds and everyday household items in striking detail.
