Andy Dolphin

Originally from England, Andy Dolphin relocated to Australia aged eight. His passion for art traces back to his childhood, when he was often found sketching. From airbrushing to fine art, his journey evolved, culminating in a professional debut in 2021. Primarily an oil painter, Andy transitioned to watercolour in 2023, garnering swift recognition. Besides teaching, he enjoys plein air painting, being captivated by light and shadow nuances and viewing each artwork as a memory of time and place. Residing in Mount Barker since 2003, Andy continues to refine his craft, earning accolades for his evocative work.
