Public art is often used to highlight significant buildings, events or milestones in an institution’s life and the art across the Hale campus is no different. The School’s art collection holds a wealth of history spanning local Western Australian artists and art practices, as well as offering an alternative perspective on the history and events that have taken place at Hale School.
The Art Trail commences in the new Junior School with some special pieces that have been gifted to the School by Year 6 graduating families. The trail then guides participants to specific art works held in the John Inverarity Music and Drama Centre, Middle School, Tom Hoar Dining Hall, Senior School administration building and even the atrium of the Senior School Boarding House. The trail offers some interesting facts about the acquisition of each work, and explores the artist, inspiration and stories that lie behind them.
The Art Trail on Hale Campus is a special production to celebrate Hale’s 60th anniversary at the Wembley Downs campus.
